Most of da works ya see here be short moving picture loops displayed on custom screens like shiny light boxes; Kydd calls ’em “durational snapshots.” His art, it be all about da passage of time, just like da process of makin’ snapshots for this orc. His pieces, they got no tale to tell, instead focusing on single object as event in time. Dis approach make artworks that be somewhere between still and movin’ pictures, pushin’ da limits of both, just like da boundary between Azeroth and Outland.
